How We're Helping
Changing faces is a supportive service for adolescents and girls 18 – 25 years old. The mission of the organization is to provide safe, stable drug free supportive housing designed to restore the brokenness from social disorder for women/individuals experiencing homelessness in Sacramento country. We accomplish this by providing continuum of comprehensives culturally and linguistically supported program and services to promote self-sufficiency and independence to end the cycle of homelessness.
Our Program
- Our program goals and activities include the following:
- A clean, safe, stable living environment for women.
- Community outreach - changing faces supportive services conducts extensive outreach to the community although we cannot provide housing for all of those who require services we do provide referrals and other resources to individuals who come to us.
- Health fairs - we participate in and conduct health fair within our community to provide homeless and at risk women with vital information regarding access to healthcare and healthcare resources.
- Case management - we are currently looking to implement an intensive case management program path to self-sufficiency with some of our residents and we provide our residents with assistance assessing medical, dental, and supportive services through our community partners, support groups clothing linking homeless woman to culturally competent linguistically appropriate physical and mental health service providers Advocating on behalf of women/individuals experiencing homelessness for needed physical and mental health services; and Promoting wellness activities to workshop, seminar and health fairs.
Our Community
Our community and family workshops and seminars will focus on:
Mental health, coping with dual diagnosis, crisis intervention and prevention and HIV education

- Drug / alcohol counseling Relapse intervention / prevention

How We're Helping
We are a community-based federally recognized 501 (c) (3) organization focused on helping make the world around us better, happier place. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers, existing community-building events, and in-depth training session for our volunteers.
